Our story
Nestled in the Mendip Hills, Haydon Farm is a 3rd generation family farm with beautiful views overlooking the Somerset Levels and Glastonbury tor.
Farmer Rob Lunnon has spent his entire life working the land, with a deep dedication to caring for the surrounding countryside and the livestock that call it home.
In pursuit of becoming more sustainable, Haydon Farm is currently on a journey, transitioning toward more regenerative farming practices. With 120 Holstein cattle and 20 Longhorn cows, the farm is also establishing a suckler beef herd.
As farming is often a family affair, we’re proud to say the next chapter is already taking shape.
You’ll often find Amelia and George out in the fields alongside Rob, bringing new energy and ideas. Whether it’s feeding calves, managing grazing plans, or helping at the butchery end, they’re hands-on and passionate about doing things the right way.
Although the next generation, they share the same values that have guided the farm for decades: respect for nature, care for our animals, stewardship of the land, and a belief that good food starts with good farming.
Our Regenerative Approach
We believe farming should support nature, not dominate it. As such, we follow regenerative methods to help restore the health of our soil, protect biodiversity, and create a reciprocal balance between crops, animals and the land.
For us, regenerative farming is not just a method – it is a promise to promote nature and biodiversity, and to leave the land stronger and healthier for future generations

Rob & Jayne
Rob and Jayne Lunnon are the partners of Haydon Farm. Rob is a third generation dairy farmer and after attending Agricultural College, he joined his parents in the business. Jayne has led a successful corporate life in marketing and Executive Leadership until 2024, when having been introduced to the principles of regenerative farming, she chose to leave office life and join Rob on the farm.
Both Rob and Jayne are passionate about producing high quality nutrient dense food, and are committed to helping the planet through good farming practices and compassionate animal management. Together, they are participating in the Roots to Regeneration programme — a farmer-led initiative to deepen their understanding of regenerative agriculture principles.

Amelia & George
In the last year, Amelia & George have traded city life for pastures-new at the family farm. They previously lived and worked in London: Amelia as a Chartered Accountant; and George as a Management Consultant.
As they both wanted to be closer to nature, and Amelia closer to her family roots, they decided to make the move. They bring their experience in business and finance along with new energy to help with all aspects of the farm. They have both loved this transition and are excited to be a part of the farm as it continues its regenerative journey.
