Our story
Nestled in the Mendip Hills, Haydon Farm is a 3rd generation family farm with beautiful views overlooking the Somerset Levels and Glastonbury Tor.
Farmer Rob Lunnon has spent his entire life working the land, with a deep dedication to caring for the surrounding countryside and the livestock that call it home.
In pursuit of becoming more sustainable, Haydon Farm is currently on a journey, transitioning toward more regenerative farming practices. With 120 Holstein cattle and 20 Longhorn cows, our farm is also establishing a suckler beef herd.
Our Regenerative Approach
We believe farming should support nature, not dominate it. As such, we follow regenerative methods to help restore the health of our soil, protect biodiversity, and create a reciprocal balance between crops, animals and the land.
For us, regenerative farming is not just a method, it is a promise to promote nature and biodiversity, and to leave the land stronger and healthier for future generations
The Family Behind Haydon Farm
-

Rob & Jayne
Rob and Jayne Lunnon are the partners of Haydon Farm. Rob is a third generation dairy farmer and after attending Agricultural College, he joined his parents in the business. Jayne has led a successful corporate life in Marketing and Executive Leadership until 2024, when having been introduced to the principles of regenerative farming, she chose to leave office life and join Rob on the farm.
Both Rob and Jayne are passionate about producing high quality nutrient dense food, and are committed to helping the planet through good farming practices and compassionate animal management. Together, they are participating in the Roots to Regeneration programme — a farmer-led initiative to deepen their understanding of regenerative agriculture principles.
